He moves away from his family and friends in an attempt to start over. Tisha who’s, 26, runs an out reach program on the city's west side is the object of Duney’s affection. More drama ensues after Duney discovers more about Tisha and vise versa, and everything is a roller coaster ride from there on. The two are opposites in everyway, he’s corporate and capitalistic, and she’s African-centric and communal. He’s a playboy, and she is suspicious and inexperienced with men. She has a child, he doesn’t. He is close to his family, she is not. It’s a story about a love that struggles to stay alive no matter what gets in their way, including themselves
