Bama Hip Hop is a performance opportunity network. We...-organize events independent Urban music artists can perform at-refer artists to other events that have a performance opportunity-work with event organizers to find entertainment for their programs-maintain a file of special events (festivals, car shows, spring break shows, music conferences) and offer a service to artists that tracks and contacts these programs for a performance spot-serve as a talent placement (not booking) agency for companies offering sponsorship/performance/marketing exposure at major events such as college tours to independent labels, artists and business seeking exposure beyond their hometown-provide information and resouces that can be used to help artists with their marketing strategy-scout talent for a talent/booking agency seeking artists with a following ready for national opportunities-arrange record pool listening party and feedback sessionsWe do not career manage, submit demos, chase label deals or hustle for radio play. We put artists in situations where they are performing for a body of live people to build their fanbase, sell CDs and spark the interest of those in the music business to look their way. We are more interested in seeing good entertainers come across our stage because if you're not good entertainment then you won't have a career in music. Keep checking our Myspace page www.myspace.com/bamahiphopnetwork and read our Blog for the most current opportunities or resources (books, websites, promotional ideas) on a regular basis and our website at www.bamahiphop.homestead.com for the same as we are always adding new and dropping old info almost every 2 weeks. See something you want to get involved with just contact whomever is listed as the promoter for that event.
